Traditional coleslaw

  • 1/2 white cabbage, finely chopped
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 150 milliliters of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Step 1 -

    In a large bowl, combine the cabbage and carrot.

  2. Step 2 -

    In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix until a smooth dressing.

  3. Step 3 -

    Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot and mix well.

  4. Step 4 -

    Let sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
