How do I place an order?
You can easily place an order via our webshop.
Of course, it starts with selecting the products you want to order.
If you click on the product you want to order, you will be taken to the product page of the product in question. Here you can read everything about the product. At the top center you will see a large green button: 'Add to cart'. To the left of this is the quantity you want to order. Choose the correct quantity and press the 'Add to cart' button.
When you are done and have found the right products, click on the shopping cart and then 'view shopping cart'. Here you see an overview of the shopping cart. You can also enter a discount code here.
Is everything in the shopping cart correct and do you want to pay? Then click on 'Checkout'. Enter all your details here and choose the payment method. More information about the payment methods can be found below.

What if I want to place a business order?
We offer specific benefits for business customers, such as fast service, a personal account manager, tailor-made quotes, and discount options. For orders over €1,000 or at least 10 of the same items, you can request a quote.

What if I want to change my order?
Is there something wrong with the order or do you still want to cancel it? Which can! You have to be quick, as we are too. An order can still be changed until it is shipped. An additional order, return or exchange will then have to be made to meet your requirements. If you are on time and want to add, exchange or remove something, you will have to transfer the remaining amount via bank transfer. Do you get money from us? We will then refund this immediately via the payment method of your order.

What if I want to cancel my order?
Do you want to cancel an order? This is possible free of charge until the moment of shipment. If the product has been delivered to PostNL, you can always return the order within 14 days. If the order is canceled, the amount will be returned via the payment method used for the order.

What are Souvy's payment options?
There are various payment options available in our webshop, namely:
- iDeal
- Credit Card
- PayPal
- Bank transfer
- Bancontact
- Klarna pay afterwards
What about iDeal payments?
With iDeal you can immediately pay for your purchase in your own trusted payment environment. If you pay with iDeal, no commission costs will be charged and your order will be shipped immediately.
What about Credit Card payments?
When you pay by credit card, your payment details are encrypted via the SSL method. We also ensure that your credit card organization ensures correct processing. Payment will only be debited when an item has been delivered.
When you pay by credit card, a payment commission of 2.8% is charged on the total amount (excluding shipping costs). After payment, order will be shipped immediately.
Please note: Your credit card company may ask you to enter the 3D-Secure verification code. This is an extra security for online payments with credit cards.
What about PayPal payments?
If you pay with PayPal, your payment is sent securely from your personal PayPal account to Souvy's. Through PayPal your purchase is always protected against non-delivery or incorrect delivery of your order, with which you can get the entire amount plus shipping costs back. In addition, no bank details are exchanged.
When you pay with PayPal, a payment commission of 3.5% is charged on the total amount (excluding shipping costs). After payment, order will be shipped immediately.
Bank transfer
You can also choose to pay by bank transfer. If you pay via direct bank transfer, you pay in the secure environment of your bank.
When you pay by direct bank transfer, no payment commission will be charged. After payment has been received on Souvy's account, the order will be shipped immediately. A bank's processing time takes an average of two to three working days.

Everything about the delivery of your order.
Which carrier will the package be delivered with?
Both your letterbox package and a standard package will be delivered with PostNL or DPD.
What is the delivery time?
The delivery time of the products includes a maximum of five working days. We aim for a maximum of five working days. This only applies to the payment methods iDeal, Credit Card and PayPal. With a bank transfer, the package will be sent within 5 working days after the money has been received in the account. The bank transfer takes on average two to three working days, depending on the processing time of your bank.
On which days will delivery take place?
PostNL & DPD deliver the packages on Tuesday to Saturday. These are the days you can expect your package.
How much are the shipping costs in the Netherlands and Belgium and surrounding areas?
All orders over €100 in both the Netherlands and Belgium are delivered free of charge. The shipping costs for orders under €100 in the Netherlands are €3.95 for a book alone. The shipping costs for the above products combined are up to €100 €5.95.
The shipping costs for orders under €100 in Belgium are €7.95 for all products.
How much are the shipping costs outside the Netherlands and Belgium?
When you order from a country outside the Netherlands or Belgium, shipping costs are often higher.
Please note: the promised delivery time only applies to the Netherlands and Belgium. Your package may take a little longer.

What if I am not at home at the time of delivery?
If you are not at home, your package will in most cases be delivered to one of your immediate neighbors. If this does not work, you will receive a note with a 'non-home code': With this code you can indicate on the same day until 10 p.m. where and when you want your package delivered for the second time. You can then choose from the following options:
- Delivery on another day (can be planned up to 6 days in advance);
- Monday to Friday evening at your home between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM (€ 1.95 extra);
- At one of the 2,600 PostNL locations throughout the Netherlands. You pick up your shipment from 3 p.m. the next day;
- At one of the 400 selected PostNL locations where you can collect the package from 8.30 am the next day (€ 1.95 extra);
- In the Parcel Machine at a number of major NS stations and Schiphol Plaza.
Do I have to sign for a package?
No, you do not have to sign for your package. If you would like this, please contact customerservice@souvy.nl .
Can I track my package?
Yes, you will receive a Track & Trace code via the email you provided. If you have not received this, you can contact us at info@souvy.nl . We will arrange the correct Track & Trace code for you as quickly as possible.
How can I track my package?
You can track your package using the Track & Trace code via the link in the email.
Can I choose a different delivery time?
Unfortunately, you cannot choose a special delivery time, unless you have already missed delivery once. (see What if I am not at home at the time of delivery?) You can indicate by email - customerservice@souvy.nl - which day you would like to receive it. We will then ensure that the delivery is postponed to a specific delivery date.
Please note: If the order has already been created with PostNL, we cannot do anything about the delivery time. So if you want this, you have to be quick to let us know via the email address.
I did not receive everything, what now?
If you receive the package, but products are missing: Don't worry. Please let us know immediately what you are missing and we will check whether everything went well. If you are entitled to a product that has not been shipped, you will of course receive it free of charge after delivery.
Can I have my package delivered to a PO Box address?
Yes, that's no problem. Please note that the maximum weight that may be delivered to a PO box is 12 kilograms. Since few of our products are so heavy, this will probably not be a problem.
Exchange or return
Did you imagine something different about the product, did you order the wrong product or is there another reason why you want to exchange or return something? That's not a bad thing at all! It's part of online shopping and we want to make it as easy as possible for you! Read the conditions carefully.
What are the conditions for exchange or return?
You have 14 calendar days after the arrival of your order to register the product or products in question for exchange or return. What you return must be unused and in its original condition . The cleaning powder may not be exchanged or returned after opening the jar. After cancellation you have another 14 days to return your product.
PLEASE NOTE: For products that are not returned in their original condition (such as without/damaged packaging, broken products, dirty products, etc.) we will charge costs of a minimum of 15% of the total order value.
How do I return?
Before you send anything, first register the return with us. You do this by sending an email to customerservice@souvy.nl with the following information:
- Your name;
- Your order number;
- The product or products you want to return, and;
- The reason for the return.
If your return meets the conditions, you can send the package. You can use the shipping box we used to send it again to return it. Make sure it is returned as you received it.
You can take the package to a PostNL point, DHL Parcel point or a UPS point to have it sent. The costs for returning are your responsibility, unless it contains a warranty claim.
Please note: Do not forget to remove the old shipping label or leave it visible on the box, otherwise the mail order company may send it back to your address.
How do I exchange?
Before you want to exchange something, first register the exchange. You do this by sending an email to customerservice@souvy.nl with the following information:
- Your name;
- Your order number;
- Exchange the product or products that you want to return;
- Which products you want to exchange for each other, and;
- The reason for the exchange.
We will confirm the exchange as soon as possible. After confirmation you can return the product or products. You can use the shipping box we used to send it again to return it.
You can take the package to a PostNL point, DHL Parcel point or a UPS point to have it sent. The costs for returning are your responsibility, unless it contains a warranty claim.
What if the prices of the exchanged items are different?
In the event that the prices of the products exchanged for each other are different, this will be settled.
In the event that the new product is worth more than the exchanged product, a new payment request will be made by bank transfer. After receipt of this payment, the new product will be shipped.
In the event that the new product is worth less than the exchanged product, Souvy will refund the money immediately after receiving the exchanged product. This is done via the way you made the first payment: this can be done via Credit Card, PayPal, iDeal or via bank transfer.
Please note: Delivery of the new order is at your own expense.
What if I want to return 1 item from a bundle or package?
After returning you will receive the amount of the returned product. Please note: the following applies to bundles: The bundle price - retained items is the amount that will be refunded.
When will I receive my exchanged product?
The new product will only be shipped once the exchanged product has been received in good order and payment (if applicable) has been made. When everything is good, the new product is delivered. You can read everything about delivery on this page.

At Souvy we do everything to make your order exceed your expectations. Not just the first time, but every time you use something from Souvy! Unfortunately, it can always happen that something breaks through no fault of your own, is incomplete or arrives damaged. That is why Souvy gives a guarantee on all products that can be ordered in the Souvy webshop.
How long do I have a warranty?
Every Souvy product has a fixed warranty period of 12 months after receipt of the product. The content and implementation of the warranty differs per product and situation.
Please note: Your right to warranty expires immediately when changes or repairs are made by or on behalf of the customer without Souvy's written permission.
What does the warranty entail?
The warranty period is divided into two periods. The first six months are covered by the legal warranty, the last six months are covered by the seller's warranty.
What is the legal guarantee?
Legal warranty (first 6 months)
Within the legal warranty, you are entitled to a sound product that is used correctly. Souvy has adopted the definition of a sound product from the central government. You are not entitled to repair or free replacement if:
- Wear;
- Misuse;
- Wrong or no maintenance;
- Damage due to your own fault.
What is seller warranty?
Seller Guarantee (last 6 months)
After the legal warranty, Souvy provides an additional six-month warranty on every product. The conditions of this warranty are identical to the legal warranty, with a few additions. You are not entitled to a repair or free replacement if:
- One of the defects mentioned in the legal warranty for which you are not entitled to repair or free replacement;
- Fall, pressure, impact or water damage;
- Commercial or professional use;
- Force majeure over which Souvy had no influence.
How do I register my product for warranty?
If you want to claim the warranty, you must first report the warranty to us by sending an email to info@souvy.nl . In this email you send the following information:
- Your name;
- Your order number;
- The product or products that you want to register for warranty, and;
- A description of the defect that is as detailed as possible. Preferably with images.
Based on this, we will process your warranty application immediately. If you are entitled to a warranty, you will enter the warranty procedure. If you are not entitled to a warranty, we can still do a lot for you. However, this is not free of charge.
How does the warranty procedure work?
If you are entitled to a warranty, the defective product or part will be repaired or replaced. This depends on the product or part and what is defective. There are two options:
Carry-in
In the case of a carry-in warranty, we ask you to send the defective product or part to us. The product or part will then be repaired by Souvy or an external party.
Replaced free of charge
If your product or part breaks and is not repaired, Souvy will send you a new product or part free of charge. In some cases you will have to return the defective product or part, which will also be reimbursed by Souvy.
What if my product is out of warranty?
It can of course happen that the products become defective outside the warranty period or that the warranty conditions are not met. We are happy to help you repair the product, if this is possible. Unfortunately, repairing a product or part is not free of charge.
To repair
Since on-site repairs entail more costs than the new value of most products in the range, Souvy only repairs remotely. The costs for sending and returning are at your expense. In addition, the costs for the repair will of course be charged.
Quote for repair
It is also possible to request a (non-binding) quote for the repair. This can be done online, provided that Souvy can determine the problem and the cause in this way. You can submit a repair request by sending an email with as much information as possible to info@souvy.nl . Are we unable to determine the costs online? You will then have to send the product or part for a quote. You can also register this via info@souvy.nl , after which you will receive all the information regarding sending from us.

What are the advantages of vacuuming?
Vacuum sealing helps keep food fresher longer by removing air, limiting the growth of bacteria and mold. This is especially useful for storing meat, fish, vegetables, and even dry goods like coffee and grains. Vacuum-sealed food can be stored in the freezer for up to several years without loss of quality.
How does a vacuum machine work?
Place the product in a vacuum bag and use the machine to suck out the air and seal the bag. This provides an airtight container that is ideal for both sous vide cooking and long-term storage.
Can I vacuum without a vacuum machine?

Can I vacuum seal damp food?

What is cold smoking?
