  • 500 g carrots
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • sea ​​salt
  • fresh parsley


  1. The preparation -

    Turn on your sous vide device and set it to 85 degrees. Wash or peel the carrots and cut the large carrots in half.

  2. To divide -

    Divide the carrots into 2/3 portions and put them in different sous vide bags . Add the butter, honey and sea salt to both bags. Then cook the carrots for 1 hour at 85 degrees.

  3. Post-processing -

    Remove the carrots from the bags and cook them on a hot grill pan or BBQ for about 3 – 5 minutes. It is important that the pan is very hot, so that a nice grill edge is created on the carrots. Remove the carrots from the pan and top them with fresh black pepper and parsley. Of course you can use these carrots in different recipes, but it is also possible to eat them as a snack!
