In Ireland, it's whiskey, in Scotland, whisky. Both are delicious, but how do you turn an ordinary whiskey into something unforgettable? That's what Souvy's smoking gun does!

Ingredients
- Whiskey (optional)
- 1 g wood chips
Preparation
Smoke the whiskey
Place the whiskey, one glass at a time, in the sous vide container or another transparent container of your choice. Add the wood shavings to the Smoking Gun and turn it on. Ensure the container is completely filled with smoke (about 20 seconds) and try to minimize the escape of smoke. You don't need to constantly refill the smoke; in principle, the smoke should be nearly impossible to escape.
Intense smoky flavor
Let the whiskey sit in the container for 5 minutes and taste it. The flavor should now have a much deeper, more intense taste. If you've achieved the desired flavor, you can drink it. Want an even more intense flavor? Let the whiskey smoke longer and add some more wood shavings.
Enjoy
You can use this smoking method with any type of whiskey. However, I recommend aiming for a fairly neutral flavor. Let us know which whiskey you smoked using #souvy on social media.
Serving tip: Use the last bit of wood chips to smoke at the table, this will create a spectacular effect for your guests!
