Ingredients
- 300 g quinoa
- 1 stock cube
- 3 cloves of garlic
- handful of fresh basil
- 250 ml water
Preparation
Preparation
Preheat the sous vide appliance to 82 degrees Celsius. This recipe uses glass jars, but you can also use regular sous vide bags. Fill the jars/bags with the quinoa, garlic, basil, bouillon cube, and water.
Yarn
Cook the quinoa for 1 hour at 82°C (180°F). Remove the jars/bag from the water. Quinoa is incredibly versatile but is often eaten with grilled vegetables. In this recipe, we've grilled bell peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and hazelnuts in the oven. Then, we topped it off with a little lemon juice and served it in the jars.
Other serving options: salads, marinated chicken, poke bowls, etc.
