Ingredients
- 100 g butter
- 1 g smoke dust
- 1 g coarse sea salt
Preparation
The preparation
Place the butter in a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Fill the smoking chamber of the Smoking Gun with wood chips. Place the rubber hose under the plastic wrap so the smoke can reach the butter. Cover the bowl completely to prevent the smoke from escaping.
Let's get smokey
Turn on the Smoking Gun and light the wood chips with a lighter. Make sure the bowl is completely filled with smoke. Remove the rubber hose from the bowl and immediately cover the bowl again. Make sure as little smoke escapes as possible. Let the smoke infuse the butter for at least three minutes.
More intense smoky flavor?
If you like an intense smoky flavor, you can choose to leave the butter covered longer or use more smoke dust .
Serve
Serve the smoked butter with fresh bread, for example. Sprinkle some coarse sea salt on the butter for even more flavor. Enjoy the smoked butter through the Smoking Gun!
