Sous-vide-sperziebonen

Sous vide green beans! Not exactly exciting, but highly requested by our followers. An easy, basic recipe for cooking your green beans healthily.

Ingredients

  • 400 g green beans
  • knob of butter
  • 2 tbsp ginger syrup
  • 1 shallot
  • 2 tbsp fried onions

Preparation

Preparation

Preheat the sous vide cooker to 85°C (185°F). Meanwhile, trim the green beans and remove the ends. Thinly slice a shallot and place it in a sous vide bag along with the green beans, a knob of butter, and the ginger syrup.

Yarn

Vacuum seal the bag and place it in the water. Cook the green beans for 1 hour at 85°C (185°F). Then remove from the water and serve the green beans with some fried onions.
