- 250 g basmati rice
- 250 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp butter

Set your sous vide appliance to 93 degrees Celsius. Note that not all sous vide appliances can reach this temperature. So make sure you have a model like this one . Tip: fill the container with hot water; this way, the appliance doesn't have to heat the entire container from room temperature to 93 degrees Celsius.
Yarn
Fill a sous vide bag with rice, water, butter, and salt. Choose a bag with a moisture seal for maximum results. Remove a small amount of air from the bag and seal it. Cook for 35 minutes at 93°C (200°F).
Serve
After 35 minutes, remove the bag from the water. Cut open a corner of the bag and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve the rice with ingredients of your choice.
