Ingredients:
- 250 g basmati rice
- 250 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp butter
Preparation:
- The preparation: Set your sous vide device to 93 degrees. Note that not all sous vide devices can heat up that hot. So make sure you have a model like this . Tip: fill the container with hot water, this way the device does not have to get the entire container from room temperature to 93 degrees.
- Cooking: Fill a sous vide bag with rice, water, butter and salt. Choose a bag with a moisture strip for maximum results. Remove a small amount of air from the bag and seal it. Cook for 35 minutes at 93 degrees.
- Serving: Remove the bag from the water after 35 minutes. Cut a corner of the bag open and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve the rice with ingredients of your choice.
