Ingredients

  • 1 pumpkin (medium size)
  • knob of butter
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • pepper

In this recipe, we cook the pumpkin at 83 degrees Celsius (183 degrees Fahrenheit) because we'll be grilling it later. If you want to eat the pumpkin immediately, go for 85 degrees Celsius (185 degrees Fahrenheit). Peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, and cut it into long strips.

Pumpkin yarn

Place the pumpkin in 1-2 vacuum-sealed bags and add a sprig of rosemary and a knob of butter. Season with salt and pepper and vacuum-seal the bag. Cook for 1 hour at 83°C (180°F).

Grilling

You can eat the pumpkin immediately, but we prefer to grill it for another minute on a hot griddle . This gives it a true BBQ flavor.
