Ingredients:
- 800 ml water
- 400 grams (unsweetened) grated coconut
Preparation:
- Heating: Heat water in a saucepan on the stove, do not let it boil.
- Blending: Put the coconut in the blender and add the hot water. Blend it for a few minutes on a high setting until you have a thick mass.
- Drain: Pour the milk through a colander to filter out the coconut and place a tea towel over a bowl. Pour the milk through this and then squeeze out all the coconut milk.
- Storage: The coconut milk is now ready to be used. You can store the fresh coconut milk in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
