Pickled onion

  • 2 red onions
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 200 ml of water
  • 200 ml white wine vinegar
  • pepper


  1. Preparation -

    Set the sous vide device to 82 degrees. Peel and cut the red onions into thin rings. If you have a preserving jar you can put the onions in it, if you don't have one then place the onions in a vacuum bag .

  2. Ingredients -

    Add the white wine vinegar, water, pinch of pepper, sugar and a tablespoon of salt. Seal the bag or close the jar. Place in the bath for 45 minutes. Take out the jar or bag and stir the substance. You can use the onions in many different dishes.
