Infused rum with coffee

Sous-vide-rum-infusion

Make a sous vide infused rum with coffee, which you can then use in a variety of cocktails.

Ingredients:

  • 500 ml rum
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 lime
  • 1 lemon peel
  • 2 tbsp coffee beans
  • espresso
  • sugar syrup
  • ice cubes

Preparation:

  1. Mix: Mix the rum, cloves, lime peel, lemon peel and coffee beans and place in a vacuum bag with moisture strip. Cook for 20 minutes at 60 degrees. Then remove all ingredients with a sieve.
  2. Cocktail: You can now use the rum in a delicious cocktail . This is an example but you can experiment with it yourself. Pour a layer of the mixed rum in a cocktail glass and mix with an espresso and sugar syrup. Finish with an ice cube.
