Want to give your salt that authentic, smoky flavor? In this recipe, we'll show you how to make the best salt ever in a simple way.

Ingredients:

  • 50 g sea salt
  • 1 g wood chips

Preparation:

  1. Preparation: Place the salt in a small container and place this container in the sous vide container . Seal the container with foil.
  2. Smoking: Add the wood chips to the Smoking Gun and turn it on. Make sure the bowl is completely filled with smoke and try to let as little smoke escape as possible. You don't have to keep refilling the smoke, 20 seconds of smoking should be enough.
  3. Wait: Let the salt smoke in the container for about 5 minutes and taste the salt. Do you have the taste you want? Then you can remove the salt from the container. Do you want the taste to be even more intense? Then let the salt smoke longer and use more wood chips .
