Seasoned lentils with tomatoes and spinach

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of lentils
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 200 grams of fresh spinach
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt, pepper and cumin

Preparation:

  1. Step 1 -

    Wash the lentils thoroughly and cook them according to the instructions on the package.

  2. Step 2 -

    Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic until translucent.

  3. Step 3 -

    Add the tomato cubes and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Step 4 -

    Add the cooked lentils and herbs. Mix well.

  5. Step 5 -

    Finally, add the spinach and let it shrink. Season with salt, pepper and cumin.
