Ingredients:

  • 1 pineapple

Preparation:

  1. Preparation: Cut off the crown and bottom of the pineapple. If you have a pineapple corer, you can easily clean the pineapple. If you don't have one, cut off the skin with a knife. Remove the middle part of the pineapple. Cut whole or half slices of the pineapple. Make sure that the thickness of each slice is the same. Then they will all be dried at the same time. Then place the pineapple slices on the grid.
  2. Drying: Preheat the dehydrator to 57 degrees. When the oven is preheated, place the rack in the oven for 8 to 10 hours. The length of time it needs to be in the dehydrator depends on the thickness of the slices. After 8-10 hours, remove the rack from the dehydrator and wait until the dried pineapple has cooled down. When the dried pineapple has cooled down, you can store it in a glass jar.
