Ingredients:

  • 1 pineapple

Preparation:

  1. Preparation -

    Cut off the crown and bottom of the pineapple. If you have a pineapple corer you can easily clean the pineapple. If you don't have this, cut the peel off with a knife. Remove the middle piece from the pineapple.

    Cut whole or half slices from the pineapple. Make sure the thickness of each slice is the same. Then they are all dried at the same time. Then place the pineapple slices on the rack.

  2. To dry -

    Preheat the drying oven to 57 degrees. When the oven is preheated, place the rack in the oven for 8 to 10 hours. How long it needs to be in the drying oven depends on the thickness of the slices. After 8-10 hours, remove the rack from the dehydrator and wait until the dried pineapple has cooled. Once the dried pineapple has cooled, you can store it in a glass jar.
