Ingredients:
- 400 ml passata (mutti)
- 10 grams fresh basil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Dash of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of salt
Preparation:
- Heat: Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan. Fry the garlic briefly and then add the passata. Let it simmer for 15 minutes on low heat. Season with some sugar and turn off the heat.
- Blending: Let the sauce cool and then blend it in the blender until you have a smooth sauce.
- Chop: Chop the fresh basil finely and add it to your pizza sauce. Then add the dried oregano and some salt and pepper.
- Storage: Taste to see if you are happy with the taste of your pizza sauce. Then pour the sauce into a jar. You can store it in the fridge for a few days or use it immediately. Enjoy!
