Ingredients:

  • 12 (un)peeled prawns
  • 20 g parsley
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 20 g oregano
  • Pepper
  • Salty
  • 30 ml olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Get everything ready: Take a pan or sous vide container and fill it with warm water. Set the sous vide device to 57 °C.
  2. Make the marinade: Take all the ingredients except the shrimp. Chop the herbs and garlic finely and mix it with the other ingredients in a bowl. Save some parsley for garnish.
  3. Marinating: Put the marinade in the sous vide bag. Peel the prawns and place them in the marinade. Then put them in the fridge for 30 minutes so that the flavours are well absorbed.
  4. Cooking: Set the timer on the sous vide device to 30 minutes and place the bag with the marinated prawns in the water bath.
  5. Finishing: Serve the shrimps immediately or let them cool in ice water for later use. Serve with the shrimps for example a couscous salad with cucumber.
