Sous vide rice cooking is super easy. No caked rice or hard grains. Always the perfect cooking with this ratio. Retain all the flavours and cook the rice sous vide!


  • 250 gr basmati rice
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp butter


  1. The preparation

    Set your sous vide device to 93 degrees. Note that not all sous vide appliances can heat this hot. So make sure you have a model like this. Tip: fill the container with hot water, this way the appliance doesn't have to get the whole container from room temperature to 93 degrees.

  2. Yarn

    Fill a sous vide bag with rice, water, butter and salt. Choose the bag with a moisture strip for maximum results. Remove a little air from the bag and seal it. Cook for 35 minutes at 93 degrees.

  3. Serving

    After 35 minutes, remove the bag from the water. Cut open a tip of the bag and let rest for a few minutes. Serve the rice with ingredients of your choice.
