What is a sous vide device or sous vide stick?

A sous vide device is also called sous vide circulator or sous vide stick. This handy kitchen tool is designed to achieve the best possible cooking in your food. Sous vide appliances are generally very compact and user-friendly. At Souvy we sell, among others, the Wartmann Cooker, sous vide controller, sous vide stick, Sous vide elite II and the sous vide systems 2/3 and 1/1 of the Hendi brand. The best sous vide starter model is the sous vide controller, already on sale from €119. If you want more power, the Wartmann Cooker is the best-selling model.

How does a sous vide appliance work?

A sous vide appliance consists of a heating element that heats the water. In addition, a circulator is built in to ensure that the water is heated evenly. It is also important that it has a good thermometer to measure the temperature. You clamp the sous vide appliance to a container or pan and adjust it. Then you vacuum the product you want to cook and add it to the tray or pan. You set the sous vide device to the right time and let the product cook. Then you take the product out and you can go straight to the table. It is advisable to fry some products in a pan, oven or bbq.
